Hey Hockeybuzz world. I used to read this site on a daily basis back between 2010-2013/4. It seemed like it was getting to be quite popular right around when I stopped reading regularly. Any insight into the reduced traffic through the site?

If there really is a flu bug, then there goes the game. poop like this almost always seems to hit the Avs when they need it the least.

Some reasons:

Tough competition from the well done and daily articles put out by each teams' writer on The Athletic.

Better site layout & media options, and more diverse coverage per team on the SportsNation sites.

More fans choosing Twitter over traditional message board sites.

Probably the most obvious of all:

Garth being promoted to one of the Top 3 vertical boxes on the HB Main Page (think this happened at the end of 2014).

The boys look much shakier and much less in control. Smith looks much more determined to not give up a lot of goals after Game 3.
